Dogs Hanging Around A Restaurant

Though it's near impossible to tell, the thin strip of photo that's duplicated 32 times is from a photo of 2 dogs tied up outside a restaurant in Los Altos. Given that the resulting picture looks somewhat like dogs wearing bibs in a circle, the title seemed appropriate.

This started as a photo of birds in a tree near our home. It then went through a Photoshop action in development (Kaleidoscope 1), some hand coloring (with the paintcan), layering with an exclusion blend, and then through some filtering (unsharp mask).
