Lynn's Tomato Plants

Lynn's tomato plants, sitting on a bench in the backyard. There are two varieties, including one given to us by Joe. We met Joe on an airplane to Italy. Joe was originally from Italy, and the variety of tomatoes grown from the seeds he sent us were in his family for 200 years.

Backyard Flower

This picture:



was used to create the one below. I really liked the thin tendrils of color in the flower's petals. I don't know if these flowers come in different colors, but decided that I could make them so.

Sun to Pool to Ceiling to Crayolas

Even as a kid I like the patterns of light made on walls and ceilings from blinds and shutters. Part of the allure is the gentle pulsation of the patterns due to the rippling of the surface of the pool from which the light reflected. The pulsation is missing from a static picture. I've attempted to compensate somewhat with a splash of color. Another possibility might be to display a series of photos taken fractions of a second apart, showing the changing patterns.

Dog At Peet's

Dog at Peet's, while we had our weekend coffee in Los Altos. If I'm not mistaken, this is Sammy, a Lhaso Apso.
